The goal of FocusCS is to provide a software solution tailored to a school-based environment.

Founded by an experienced ICT Director with an extensive background working within Brisbane Catholic Education schools, the primary purposes for FocusCS were developed in direct collaboration with school counsellors and ultimately driven by the needs they identified - a digital student case note management system that lightens the administrative and cognitive load for users, and speaks to the industry specific compliance, reporting and security requirements associated with a working school environment.

Setting aside operational functionalities typically associated with private practise, such as the financial aspects of insurance invoicing and managing revenue cycles, has allowed us to hone the scope of our software. We place emphasis on the problems we look to solve for our school community of users; the move towards digitisation of student histories, the cumbersome task of student profile creation and maintenance, and the effective management of tasks and workloads within an environment where our users are required to constantly reprioritise their days to respond to crises and the needs of others.
